Hello Friends,
Make Phone Calls to Arizona Voters
Tomorrow – Wednesday – from 2:30 to 5:00, you can make phone calls to Arizona voters for Sister District! Arizona is a crucial state this year – they’re a tossup in the presidential race, there’s a big Senate race, and their legislature can flip if we put in some effort. Sister District is working to increase the number of Arizonans on the state’s Permanent Early Voter list so that they can get to the polls even if the virus shuts things down in November. Register here if you’d like to participate!
Donate to Indivisible Sacramento
For the rest of May, Indivisible’s national team is matching any donations that we receive through our fundraising page. If you have some extra funds to spare, please consider sending some our way. You can donate through our Act Blue page here.
Though we are currently not paying for our monthly meeting space, we still have some expenses. Right now, we’re spending a lot on mailing supplies and stamps for our postcard campaigns.
Help NorCal Resist
If you want to donate a large amount of food, reach out to norcalresist@gmail.com to arrange a pickup or drop–off that works for you! They can also use gift cards for these families (think groceries, Target, Wal-Mart, gas cards), as well as money. You can mail a check or gift cards to: NorCal Resist, PO Box 188331, Sacramento, CA 95818 or donate at www.tinyurl.com/NCRFund.
Events Page
Finally, a reminder to visit our website’s events page often so that you can stay informed about how to stay active. Just because we’re all at home doesn’t mean we can’t help the election efforts.
