4/6 –NORCAL RESIST MIGRA WATCH TRAINING: 7pm, Virtual Event. NorCal Resist volunteers keep eyes on ICE — to keep people safe, to ensure that no one is kidnapped and thrown into the detention system without a witness or advocate. NO RSVP. CLICK HERE TO JOIN MEETING

4/11 – RANKED CHOICE VOTING FOR SACRAMENTO CITY ELECTIONS:  10 am – 11am, Belle Cooledge Library, 5600 South Land Park Drive. This meeting provides our community an opportunity to discuss the RCV proposal, ask questions and sign the petition to get it on the November 2026 ballot.  MORE INFO HERE

4/15 – EDUCATOR’S RESIST MEETING: 3pm – 5pm.  Join a community of educators, students, and supportive community members to organize active resistance against authoritarianism within the sphere of influence of education. This month they are hosting a Know-Your-Rights training with NorCal Resist.  REGISTER HERE

4/18 – SPARC Youth Activist Conference (High school students only): 12pm – 4pm, location with registration. The SPARC Youth Activist Conference is an opportunity for student activists who are in high school and live in the Sacramento area. We plan to share resources, make connections and plan our next collective steps to resist authoritarianism and government-perpetrated violence. Note: THIS IS AN EVENT ONLY FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. 4/21 –INDIVISIBLE SACRAMENTO MONTHLY MEETING: 7pm, CLARA Auditorium, 1425 24th St, Sacramento. Join INDIVISIBLE Sac friends as we gather for our monthly meeting. Speaker: Indivisible Sac Lobby Team Cathryn Geyer and Cynthia Shallit will discuss new district lines and interview results from Congressional candidates from new districts CA-03, CA-06, and CA-07.

4/25 – RED ALERT SAVE OUR HOSPITALS TOUR – OROVILLE:  12pm, Oroville Hospital, 2767 Olive Hwy, Oroville, CA. Join nurses across the country to protect our communities from health care cuts. Trump and Republicans slashed Affordable Care Act subsidies and gutted health care programs like Medicaid, all to fund billionaire tax breaks and ICE terror. 5/4 – RALLY FOR CA SCIENCE:  12pm, CA State Capitol, Thousands of scientists and community members will rally in Sacramento to demand that Governor Gavin Newsom place the California Health & Science Research Bond on the 2026 ballot. The California Health & Science Research Bond Act (SB 895) is a bill that would place a bond on the November 2026 ballot to fund life-saving research at California institutions that is at risk of being cut by the Trump Administration.
