APRIL 2018

  • 4/21: WALK FOR DEMOCRACY: Voter Registration and Outreach – 9:30am, SN&R office, 1124 Del Paso Blvd. Please join volunteers from local organizations including the Sacramento Central Labor Council, Sacramento Area Congregations Together and People Power as we go door to door to register voters and talk to our neighbors about the upcoming changes in our voting process.
  • 4/22: THE ROLE OF FAITH IN THE PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT: Making Room in the Tent – 3pm-5pm at First United Methodist Church, 2100 J Street, Sacramento. A community forum sponsored by INDIVISIBLE Sacramento.
  • 4/24: SB 822 (Net Neutrality) Hearing, Senate Judiciary Committee  – 1:30pm, Rm. 112, State Capitol. Senator Wiener’s office would like citizens to make public comment in favor of the bill at the hearing and to call committee members.   • 4/27: Sacramento County Sheriff and DA Candidate Debates – 5:15pm, McGeorge School of Law, Lecture Hall, 3227 5th Ave.
  • 4/28 and 4/29: Canvass CA-04 with California Away Team CD-04 – Activate midterm-skipping Democrats to flip CA-04 in Placer County blue.
  • 4/29: Canvass CA-07 with CAL AWAY TEAM – Fair Oaks – Canvass midterm-skipping Democrats and enroll them in our commit-to-vote-in-2018 program! Keep CA-07 in Sacramento County blue.

MAY 2018

  • 5/5 and 5/6: Canvass CA-04 with California Away Team CD-04 – Activate midterm-skipping Democrats to flip CA-04 in Placer County blue.
  • 5/8: Office Meeting with Congresswoman Doris Matsui – 2pm. Meet at 1:30 at 501 I Street, Matsui Courthouse Building.
  • 5/16: INDIVISIBLE Sacramento General Meeting – 7pm at Sierra 2 Community Center,  2791 24th St, Rm. 10. 
  • 5/22: Q & A with Secretary of State Alex Padilla: 7pm – 8:30pm at Arden—Arcade Library, 2443 Marconi Ave. Bring your questions about voter registration and the new voting system.
  • 5/26 and 5/27: Canvass CA-04 with California Away Team CD-04 – Activate midterm-skipping Democrats to flip CA-04 in Placer County blue.
