4/22 – CA-6 CANDIDATE FORUM: 6:30pm – 8pm (arrive early, doors open at 6pm), Natomas Charter School, Benvenuti Performing Arts Center, 4600 Blackrock Dr. Moderated by League of Women Voters, forum will include these candidates for CA-6 congressional race: Richard Pan, Martha Guerrero, Thien Ho, Kevin Kiley, Tyler Vandenberg, Lauren Babb Tomilinson, Michael Stansfield.

4/23 – BALD EAGLE WALK FOR EDGAR SOTO: 10am – 12pm, location with registration. Join our friends at States Win Sacramento for a Bald Eagle Walk and help support candidate, Edgar Soto for AZ State Senate!  The walk will be led by Ruth Anderson, and a docent, who will be able to answer questions about the eagles. $35 DONATION REQUESTED    REGISTER HERE

Trump and Republicans slashed Affordable Care Act subsidies and gutted health care programs like Medicaid, all to fund billionaire tax breaks and ICE terror. 4/26 – BETTER BALLOT SACRAMENTO VOLUNTEER AT EARTH DAY: 11am – 4pm, Southside Park, 700 T St, Sacramento. Better Ballot Sacramento will be collecting petition signatures at Sacramento Earth Day 2026 — the largest Earth Day celebration in the Sacramento region. Help them gather signatures to place a Ranked Choice Voting measure on the November 2026 ballot. REGISTER HERE

5/1 – MAY DAY STRIKE: NO WORK, NO SCHOOL, NO SHOPPING: A nationwide day of collective action. Demanding: 1) Tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first; 2) No ICE. No war. No private army serving authoritarian power; 3) Expand democracy, hands off our vote. MORE INFO HERE

5/1 – A DAY WITHOUT IMMIGRANTS MARCH AND RALLYCLICK HERE FOR FULL SCHEDULE,  Southside Park.  The event will include a rally at Southside Park, a march to the John Moss Building, as well as an art action with community speakers, musical performances, and food and beverages with NO ICE! 

5/4 – RALLY FOR CA SCIENCE:  12pm, CA State Capitol, Thousands of scientists and community members will rally in Sacramento to demand that Governor Gavin Newsom place the California Health & Science Research Bond on the 2026 ballot. The California Health & Science Research Bond Act (SB 895) is a bill that would place a bond on the November 2026 ballot to fund life-saving research at California institutions that is at risk of being cut by the Trump Administration. 5/4 – EDUCATORS RESIST! MONTHLY MEETING: 5pm – 7pm, location with registration. The purpose of this group is to use the pillars of support framework along with non-violent strategies to organize active resistance against authoritarianism within the sphere of education. 5/9- CA-06 CANDIDATE FORUM: 2pm – 4pm, Roseville (details with registration). Join Gold Country Fighting Oligarchy (GCFO,) Placer Action Network (PAN,) and Roseville Area Democrats (RAD) for a CA-6 candidate forum with candidates Lauren Babb Tomlinson, Martha Guerrero, Thein Ho, Richard Pan, and Tyler Vandenberg.
