FUNDRAISER FOR AFGHAN REFUGEES: Join our friends at NorCal Resist to help Afghan evacuees pay the $575 fee for each humanitarian parole application. 

Every Friday until S.1 passes – FIGHT BACK FRIDAYS ONLINE ACTION PARTY: 5 – 6pm. Organized by the 2020 Coalition. Get together online each Friday afternoon for a virtual action party in support of the Freedom to Vote Act and the Build Back Better climate agenda!

WEEKLY LETTER WRITING GROUP – Meet up with fellow progressives every Friday on Zoom to write letters for progressive causes. Group leaders are based in lovely Ashland, Oregon. It’s a great way to schedule some activist and social time each week.

WRITE LETTERS TO THE WHITE HOUSE IN SUPPORT OF VOTING RIGHTS LEGISLATION – Sierra Club is writing letters to our elected officials and their staff to encourage them to pass both the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. They will send you 6 letters to download, print, personalize and send. Each letter will go to a different leader in the White House! For this project each person will write 1 batch of letters.

2020 COALITION FOR THE PEOPLE ACT SATURDAYS – PHONE BANK FOR S.1: Every Saturday, 1pm – 3pm. Zoom. The 2020 Coalition Sacramento is joining Swing Left Peninsula and Joan’s Democracy Cafe to build on our 2020 victories by passing the “For the People Act” (S.1) to protect voting rights for everyone. 

SISTER DISTRICT PHONEBANK FOR A PROGRESSIVE VIRGINIA: WEDNESDAYS (2:30pm PT) and SATURDAYS (10am PT) Join with Sister District Sacramento’s “Phonomenal” Phone Bankers to support their two Virginia candidates for the House of Delegates.

VOTE FORWARD VIRGINIA ELECTION CAMPAIGN: Send letters to encourage Democratic-leaning registered voters in Virginia to request their absentee ballots in advance of the election in November. Last day to send letters is October 16.  Let’s keep the blue trifecta!
