2020 COALITION FOR THE PEOPLE ACT SATURDAYS – PHONE BANK FOR S.1: Every Saturday, 1pm – 3pm. Zoom. The 2020 Coalition Sacramento is joining Swing Left Peninsula and Joan’s Democracy Cafe to build on our 2020 victories by passing the “For the People Act” (S.1) to protect voting rights for everyone. 

SISTER DISTRICT PROJECT STATE BRIDGES EVENT SERIES: Sister District’s dynamic new State Bridges program is connecting volunteers from across the country to raise funds for progressive community-based organizations in swing states. 

SISTER DISTRICT PHONEBANK FOR A PROGRESSIVE VIRGINIA:
WEDNESDAYS (2:30-5pm PT) Join with Sister District Sacramento’s “Phonomenal” Phone Bankers to support their two Virginia candidates for the House of Delegates.

VOTE FORWARD VIRGINIA ELECTION CAMPAIGN: Send letters to encourage Democratic-leaning registered voters in Virginia to request their absentee ballots in advance of the election in November. Let’s keep the blue trifecta!


AUGUST 2021


8/11 – Stop the Republican Recall – OWLS Fundraiser: 6 – 7:30pm. Mangos, 1930 K St, Sacramento. Join Organize, Win, Legislate Democratic Club of Sacramento and organizers of the 2020 Coalition for their  first in-person gathering of 2021 to learn about the Stop The Republican Recall campaign and how you can help. Donate 20.22 to help the Club with ongoing expenses as they also continue to support passage of the For the People Act, defend blue seats in the Virginia state legislature, and prepare the ground for 2022. Donations collected at the door or online here.

8/12 – SISTER DISTRICT EVENT FOR MICHIGAN ACTIVISTS: 5pm. Zoom. Join our friends at Sister District to meet and support Michigan organizations Mothering Justice and We the People Michigan. We will be joined by Danielle Atkinson, Executive Director of Mothering Justice; and Art Reyes, Executive Director of We the People Michigan. This event is part of the Sister District State Bridges Program in support of local activists. Can’t attend but want to donate? Click here.

8/14 – SISTER DISTRICT FUNDRAISER: Meet the Author of “Copy Boy”: 4 – 5pm. Zoom. Meet Shelley Blanton-Stroud, the author of the novel “Copy Boy.”  This event is a fundraiser for Debra Gardner, candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates, District 27. Debra will join us during this event! We intend to flip this seat blue! Can’t attend but want to donate? Click HERE
