We have a lot of big updates this week.

Next Meeting

First, a reminder: our monthly meeting is next Wednesday, February 21st, at 7:00. Our guest speaker will be Assembly Member Kevin McCarty, who represents many of us in this group (if you live in the northern half of Sacramento, he is probably your Assembly Member). We’re excited to hear from one of our local state legislators who has such a reliable progressive record.

As usual, we’ll be in Room 10 at Sierra2 Center for the Arts and Culture, 2791 24th Street. We meet the third Wednesday of every month.

Inter-Faith Forum

We are thrilled to announce a big event coming up. Indivisible Sacramento will be hosting a discussion featuring members of a number of progressive groups and representatives from a many diverse religious denominations. We hope to show how people from different backgrounds can come together to make positive change in the community and in the world.

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, April 22nd at 3:00 p.m. We’ll be gathering at the First United Methodist Church at 2100 J Street.

Issues and Phone Calls

Keep making calls to our Members of Congress! There is no shortage of issues for our MOCs to take a stand on, and we have to make sure they know we care.
