Weekly Update 3/25/19
Hello, Friends.
We need to see the Mueller Report. Trump appointed William Barr as Attorney General so that he could whitewash the report’s conclusions, and so far he is doing an excellent job. But there’s a reason we campaigned so hard for Democrats to take over the House of Representatives, and we need them to exercise their oversight powers to make sure the full report doesn’t get buried. Call your Members of Congress and tell them to demand the full report. Representative Doris Matsui:(916) 498-5600 If you’d like to read a little more about what Indivisible is doing, you can check out the “Mueller Time” feature of the website. Also take a moment to read this piece by Sasha Abramsky in the Sacramento News and Review, which features reactions from several Indivisible Sacramento members. No problem. We have two great suggestions. First consider donating to the Unify or Die fund. This fund will be awarded to the campaign of whichever candidate wins the Democratic nomination so they can take down Trump. Whatever happens in the primaries, we will be united behind that candidate, so why not chip in a few bucks now? Indivisible Sacramento also humbly asks for your donations. We have an Act Blue page of our own where you can contribute to our group account. Our primary expense is room rental for our meetings, and we also have other incidental expenses incurred when we hold events. If you donate during the month of April, Indivisible national will match your donation to our local group! |
