Weekly Update 8/21/18
What are you doing to help win back the United States Senate? You can make a big difference by calling Nevada voters. Right now, we’re calling to help compile data that will show which voters can be persuaded and which ones will just need a little reminder to get to the polls in November. You can do it from the comfort of your own home! It’s easy, and there’s a very helpful video to show you how. Just visit our website and get started!
Do you prefer making calls with a group? Join us this Saturday (8/25)at Raley’s in Natomas from 12:30 – 3:00. We’ll be in the Community Room at Raley’s – 4650 Natomas Blvd. (note: the location has changed since the previous announcement about this event). We’ll provide snacks and support. Please bring a laptop and a cell phone, and together we’ll make a difference.
Nevada Weekend Trip
Of course, the very best way to reach voters is in person. We’re planning a trip to do just that. We will be heading to Reno on the morning of Saturday, September 22nd so we can knock on doors and remind Nevadans what is at stake this fall. We will return on Sunday evening. Do you think you can join us? If you’re interested, send a reply to this e-mail. You don’t need to commit now, but we would like to know how many people are interested so we can work out the details.
Postcard Party
Closer to home, we can use some volunteers for a postcard party onFriday, August 31st at Belle Cooledge Library in South Land Park. These postcards will go to voters in the 7th Congressional District, where Congressman Ami Bera is facing a Republican challenger. Our postcard parties are always fun, and they always seem to draw a crowd, so you won’t want to miss it! The fun starts at 7:00 p.m.
